Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Meta CAPI, server-side tracking, setup, billing, and affiliates.

4 min read8 sections

How does Meta CAPI improve tracking accuracy?

Meta CAPI sends conversion events directly from your server to Meta. This helps reduce data loss caused by browser restrictions, ad blockers, cookies, and iOS privacy updates.

Do I need to manage any servers?

No. Gettracked hosts and manages the server-side container for you. You install the tracking script, configure your Pixel ID and access token, and monitor events from the dashboard.

Will it track purchases and leads?

Yes. The tracking script captures purchases, leads, sign-ups, add-to-cart, and other standard events, then forwards them to Facebook CAPI, TikTok Events, and GA4 based on your container configuration.

Will this replace my pixel?

No. Gettracked complements your existing browser pixel and sends additional server-side events for more reliable attribution.

Do you store customer data?

Event payloads are processed and retained based on your plan's data retention period. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use my own subdomain?

Yes. Add a custom tracking domain (CNAME or TXT) from the container Settings tab for first-party tracking on your own subdomain.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free plans are available on the Pricing page. You can create a container, install the script, and verify events before upgrading.

How does the affiliate program work?

Partners earn commissions by referring customers through a unique affiliate link. Join from the Affiliates page in the dashboard or visit our Affiliate program page.
