Event Tracking
How the tracking script captures events and what data appears in your dashboard.
How events are captured
Once you install the Gettracked script on your website, events are captured automatically by cdn.js using your container's license key. You do not need to write custom JavaScript calls — the script handles event collection and server-side forwarding.
Standard conversion events such as purchases, leads, sign-ups, add-to-cart, and page views are captured when they occur on your site.
Event data in the dashboard
The Events tab shows each captured event with:
- Event name and event ID
- Page URL and title
- Browser, domain, country, and IP address
- Referrer and UTM parameters
- Facebook parameters (fbp, fbc) when available
- Ecommerce data: value, currency, and line items (SKU, category, quantity, price)
- Full raw JSON payload
Platform delivery logs
The Logs tab shows whether each event was delivered to connected platforms. Select a start and end date, then filter by platform:
- GA4
- TikTok
Each log entry shows the event name, platform, HTTP status, delivery status, endpoint, and timestamp.
Request limits
Each plan includes a monthly request limit shown on your plan card and in the container header as requests used / limit. One request equals one event processed through your container.
Monitor usage in the Subscription tab. If you approach your limit, click Update Subscription to upgrade. See Billing & Plans.
