Introduction
Gettracked (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates a server-side tracking platform built around our Container Node, a first-party data pipeline that anonymizes, scrubs, and routes conversion events to ad platforms such as Meta CAPI, Google Ads, TikTok, and GA4 in under one millisecond.
This Privacy Policy describes what we collect from website operators (“Customers”) who manage tracking through the Gettracked dashboard, how we handle the events they forward on behalf of their visitors, and the choices everyone has. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up for the dashboard, we collect your name, work email, business name, and the credentials needed to authenticate your account.
Container configuration
To run server-side tracking on your behalf, we store the configuration you enter when creating a Container: your website domain, Pixel ID, Access Token, business details, and event mappings. Access Tokens and other secrets are encrypted at rest and never displayed back in full.
Event data routed through Gettracked
When your website fires a conversion event (purchase, lead, sign-up, add-to-cart, or any custom event you define), the Container Node receives it server-side, anonymizes and scrubs it according to platform rules, and forwards it to the destinations you have connected.
We log delivery metadata (timestamp, event name, destination, delivery status) so you can verify that events are firing in the dashboard. We do not retain raw event payloads beyond the retention window described below.
Dashboard usage information
We collect information about how you use the dashboard, including pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and device identifiers, so we can keep the product reliable and improve it.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the Container Node and deliver your conversion events to the destinations you configure.
- To authenticate accounts, prevent unauthorized access, and stop abuse of our infrastructure.
- To produce the delivery, conversion, and campaign-performance reports shown in your dashboard.
- To send service notifications, billing communications, and relevant product updates about Gettracked.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and ad-platform partner obligations.
Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share data only in the following ways:
- Connected ad platforms — the events you configure in your Container are forwarded to the destinations you have authorized (Meta CAPI, Google Ads, TikTok, GA4, and similar). What is sent is determined by your event mapping and platform-specific scrubbing rules.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, log storage, payments, and customer support tools that operate under written data-processing agreements.
- Legal compliance — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gettracked, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
Cookies & First-Party Tracking
The Gettracked dashboard uses first-party cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the product is used.
Separately, when you connect your website to a Container, our Container Node operates as a first-party endpoint to bypass browser limits, ad blockers, and iOS privacy restrictions. Cookies set on your visitors' browsers are governed by your own website's privacy notice — you decide what is captured and what is forwarded.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations:
- Account & Container configuration — kept while your account is active.
- Event delivery logs — kept for up to 90 days to support troubleshooting and reporting, then deleted or anonymized.
- Billing records — kept for the duration required by tax and accounting law.
You can request earlier deletion of any retained data at any time by emailing us.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@gettracked.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant).
Security
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards: TLS for data in transit, encryption at rest for Access Tokens and other secrets, role-based access controls for the dashboard, audit logging on configuration changes, and routine security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
Gettracked operates globally. Containers may be hosted in the region closest to your audience, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. We implement appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Children's Privacy
Gettracked is a B2B tool intended for marketers and developers. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Customers must likewise ensure they do not forward children’s data through the Container without proper consent.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you via email or in the dashboard. Continued use of Gettracked after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
